Case Study: PB Inspires with Price Bailey
How we helped Price Bailey empower disadvantaged school-leavers, while engaging and developing their people.
THE CHALLENGE
An employer that wants to give back.
As a major employer and one of the UK's top 25 accountancy firms, with offices across London and East Anglia, Price Bailey recognises its responsibility to contribute to a brighter future for disadvantaged school-leavers in their communities.
They came to us because they wanted to equip young people with the skills and experience that give them better access to employment opportunities, while offering their people the opportunity to give something back.
OUR APPROACH
Forging a relationship that goes both ways.
We developed PB Inspires, Price Bailey’s flagship corporate social responsibility programme. Centred around long-term partnerships with schools in the firm’s communities, the programme harnesses the PB team’s skills and experience to support and develop young people from socially diverse backgrounds.
In each school we run a tailored annual programme of inspirational activities that support students between the ages of 14 and 18 with their personal, academic and career development through skills sessions, workshops, mentoring and placements.
The programmes are delivered by Price Bailey volunteer employees from all levels, up to and including partners, allowing them to develop and reinforce their skills by using them in a new context. PB Inspires has quickly become an integral part of Price Bailey’s culture, bringing people together across the firm and helping them collaborate and develop new skills.
We fully manage PB Inspires – from developing and managing school partnerships, to designing a unique mix of interactive learning and support, to supporting PB’s volunteers in creating a positive impact for the business and young people involved.
