The Team

Patrick Philpott  Founder & Managing Director

Patrick started his first business in 2006, during his GCSEs.  It didn’t go well!  But he went into schools and colleges speaking to other young people about his experiences and what he had learned.  It was whilst speaking to students that he found that many wanted more ways of meeting employers and developing skills that will help them be successful in the future.  Which got him thinking:  How can employers help young people learn about careers, the working world, and the skills they need to get there?

So, during his A-levels in 2008, Patrick founded Visionpath Education.  The idea was to work with employers, creating programmes that would help students gain skills and experiences vital for a successful future, whilst helping businesses achieve their talent and development aims.  Creating this ‘win-win’ helps us develop sustainable relationships.

Visionpath launched with SKILL!, which is now part of a broad offering spanning employee volunteering, talent programmes and bespoke projects and consultancy.  All making a difference for young people, whilst helping businesses meet future talent and professionals build their skills.  To date we have reached over 2000 young people and 800 professionals and work with a range of clients, from SMEs to leading multinationals.

Our team of associates bring a wealth of experience to our programmes, ensuring we deliver engaging and inspiring learning experiences for young people and professionals alike.  These are a few of our great team…
